Drenge will be out on the road as the glorious British summer begins to make itself known.
The brothers Loveless start on June 3rd at the Welly in Hull, with trips to Oxford, Cardiff, Coventry and, after a pause, across the Irish Sea to Derry due before the month is out. Two further Irish dates are booked for July in Cork and Galway.
Drenge already have their eye on album number two after releasing the self-titled debut last year. “Often when young bands are catapulted into the limelight for reasons other than their music – as has happened here – the resulting debut album is underwhelming,” Live4ever’s review ended.
“In this case, Drenge have delivered a visceral expression of their live set – and fulfilled widespread lofty expectations in the process.”
