The National‘s performance at the Sydney Opera House from last Saturday (February 8th) has been made available in full on YouTube (below).

The band’s Aussie set drew heavily from their sublime 2013 album ‘Trouble Will Find Me‘, but also found time to dip into various modern American rock classics which litter their enviable back catalogue.

That collection is likely to be added to in the not-too-distant future and, when speaking to NME last November, The National’s chief creative force Aaron Dessner said he hopes their next studio release will prove to be a much rawer affair than what we’ve become accustomed to.

“We’re actually thinking for the next album we make a very raw, un-produced simple record that nobody will like,” he said.
