The Horrors premiere new track ‘I See You’

horrorsHaving just confirmed the details of their fourth studio album months after it was originally due to be out, The Horrors have seen a sprawling, seven-minute monster by the name of ‘I See You‘ receive its premiere on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show.

It is also now streaming as a lyric video on YouTube which can be viewed below.

‘I See You’ gives us an emphatic first taste of ‘Luminous‘, which is now set for release through XL on May 5th. Originally planned to succeed the superb 2011 LP ‘Skying‘ last September, there has instead been several revisits and reworkings since, as guitarist Josh Hayward partly explained when speaking to Drowned In Sound last year:

“We had quite a long time away from it so there’s no harm in going back in and looking over the album again to see if there’s anything we could do differently,” he said. “The album was very us at that moment. Now it’s been put back there’s a good chance we will end up wanting to change it because we’re constantly having new ideas and trying different things.”
