The Flaming Lips, Wild Beasts, The Horrors and Drenge are leading the way for this year’s End Of The Road festival, which has unveiled its first wave of new acts.

“I am very excited to have finally got The Flaming Lips, one of the best live bands in the world today, playing End of the Road on Saturday night,” founder Simon Taffe remarks.

“It’s also a great honour to have Wild Beasts back to play a headline spot, plus some of the most interesting live bands around at the moment – White Denim, John Grant, Yo La Tengo and many more.”

As well as the additional artists mentioned by Taffe, the likes of British Sea Power, Temples, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Deer Tick, Gruff Rhys, Pink Mountaintops, Richard Thompson and Stealing Sheep have all also signed up.

End Of The Road is held at Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset over the (hopefully) sunny weekend of 29th-31st August.
