Savages hope to have an EP out later this year according to singer Jehnny Beth.

As the band starts to move on from its Mercury-nominated debut ‘Silence Yourself‘ (released in the May of last year), Beth discussed their plans to include the already-live-favourite ‘Fuckers‘ on an EP along with a cover of Suicide‘s ‘Dream Baby Dream‘ during an interview with the Australian radio station Triple J.

“We’re going to release a song that we play live called ‘Fuckers’,” she said. “We recorded it live from a show we did in London last fall at The Forum. It’s going to be available on vinyl as well. We’re also be covering a Suicide track called ‘Dream Baby Dream’.”

Savages have been touring throughout Australasia recently as part of the rolling Laneway Festival, at which band such as Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Jagwar Ma, Drenge, Frightened Rabbit and Daughter are also playing their part.
