Kasabian, The Courteeners and Jake Bugg are a part of the first round of acts to confirm for this year’s Benicassim Festival, which occurs between July 17th-20th.

Other early arrivals on the bill are Tinie Tempah, Chase & Status, M.I.A., Tame Impala, Manic Street Preachers, James, Klaxons, Sub Focus, Of Montreal, The Charlatans, Presidents Of The United States of America, The 1975, Kodaline and Telegram.

The future of Benicassim seemed to be uncertain when Vince Power’s Music Festivals PLC sold its majority share in the event in 2013 but, speaking last summer, Power insisted all would go ahead as planned.

“FIB is one of the world’s most established and best-loved live music events and I wanted to ensure the future of the festival for many years to come,” he said. “I am pleased we have found great partners to take Benicàssim forward to its next phase and to guarantee it is secure and solid for the fans, this year and every year. Next year Benicàssim celebrates its 20th anniversary and I look forward to many more memorable festivals in years to come.”
