In readiness for their new ‘Supermodel‘ album emerging into the spotlight on March 24th via Columbia Records, Foster The People have confirmed the details of two special shows in London and Paris – their first European outings since 2012.

The first takes place at the Troxy in London on the day of the album’s release, while the Paris date is due at the Gaité Lyrique on March 28th. A limited pre-sale for London begins at the group’s official website tomorrow (February 6th), the general sale follows a day later.

Speaking to Rolling Stone towards the end of last year, frontman Mark Foster said he anticipates the LP’s move away from the winning formula probably best realised on hit single ‘Pumped Up Kicks‘ to polarise fans.

“Once I write something, I never try to write that same style again, because I get very schizophrenic musically,” he said. “This record, I went into it wanting to do something more organic and human, because the first record was so electronic and synthetic – in a cool way, I’m not putting it down, that’s just what it was. So this record, I wanted to make something more human and let the songs breathe and grow and turn and take left turns and not come back if they want to.”
