Bombay Bicycle Club could be heading to number one on the main UK Album Chart for the first time this week.

‘So Long, See You Tomorrow‘ – the band’s fourth studio release in five years – is at the summit on the official midweek update, immediately ahead of Within Temptation and Avicii.

“I think in terms of the album, there’s a romantic side of it,” Jack Steadman has previously said of their new LP. “There’s a relationship that always seems like it’s in the lurch and ending, but it prevails nonetheless. I feel like we’ve found the balance between making it interesting and intelligent, but also not highbrow or elitist.”

There also new entries in the Top 10 due from Maximo Park and Broken Bells, while London Grammar, Arctic Monkeys, Bruce Springsteen and The 1975 are all currently holding on to places inside the Top 20.
