Band Of SkullsMatt Hayward has said the band’s recent singles ‘Nightmares‘ and ‘Asleep At The Wheel‘ only hint at what is to come on their new album ‘Himalayan‘.

“We never give ourselves too many rules and we don’t ever want to make something which gets too samey because there are three of us writing and so we all have very different personalities when it comes to our musical taste and our playing that the record turned out very varied, which we’re very proud of,” he told XFM. “I wouldn’t just go on the singles, I think it is very worth listening to the whole record.”

Band Of Skulls are preparing to follow-up their barnstorming second album ‘Sweet Sour‘ on March 31st. Shortly before then, a European tour is started with six UK gigs including a two-night stay at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire on March 27th and 28th. Concerts continue through to April 19th when a visit to Shcijndel in the Netherlands wraps things up.
