We Are Scientists have revealed their latest album – the first since ‘Barbara‘ made itself known in June 2010 – will be entitled ‘TV en Français‘.
The release date of March 4th has previously been confirmed, while former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows was again recruited for recording sessions which took place at the Magic Shop in New York City with producer Chris Coady, on whom Keith Murray enthuses:
“Working with Chris Coady as producer had a huge effect — he has such a distinct and well-developed sense of what’s cool and what sounds good, but he’s also emphatic about keeping the rawness of the performances in there.”
The tracks ‘Dumb Luck‘ and ‘Return The Favor‘, which were included on last October’s ‘Business Casual‘ EP, are to feature on the full length album, while a month-long tour of North America kicks off in April in Philadelphia, concluding much later at Kings in North Carolina on May 19th.
