Moby is to unleash a live DVD entitled ‘Almost Home – Live At The Fonda, LA‘ on March 3rd to document one of the trio of live shows which he has to-date partaken in following the release of his ‘Innocents‘ album last year.
Some past favourites are included in the setlist, while LP collaborators Mark Lanegan, Skylar Grey, Damien Jurado and others are seen joining Moby onstage. The DVD is available in limited edition form as a 2CD/DVD package.
Live4ever’s ‘Innocents’ review describes album opener ‘Everything Rises‘ as being, ‘Splendidly filmic, layered in wonderfully melancholic strings and plucked eastern leaning ticks which melt with feather light organ sounds and suitably hazy hip-hop beats dusted lightly into the background’.
