Mick Jagger has no plans to follow Keith Richards in writing autobiography

Although the rather…personal claims made against him by Keith Richards in the guitarist’s autobiography Life were nearly enough to end their volatile relationship once and for all – and put an end to any hopes of a 50th anniversary tour for The Rolling StonesMick Jagger appears to have no desire to respond with his own life story any time in the future.

“I think the rock ‘n’ roll memoir is a glutted market,” Jagger remarks in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter.

“I’d rather be doing something new. I’d rather be making new films, making new music, be touring. If someone wants to know what I did in 1965, they can look it up on Wikipedia without even spending any money.”

Of course, Jagger and Richards made their peace in time for the Stones’ Golden celebrations to begin at the end of 2012 in London – gigs which are due to continue around the world this year.
