A short clip of Serge Pizzorno alone in a room, screaming into a microphone has offered a very brief glimpse of Kasabian‘s upcoming new album. Have a watch for yourself below.

With the caption, ‘This piece of footage was anonymously submitted to us, we thought you’d better see it for yourselves’, the video was uploaded to the band’s official website and YouTube ahead of an expected release for the album at some point this year.

Speaking to Q Magazine at the start of this month, frontman Tom Meighan promised the new LP will be ‘as good as it gets for us’.  “If we’re on a mountain, we’re at the top of Mount Everest now,” he continued, “We’ve stuck the flag in and we’re saluting it. Top of the world, mate – that’s where we are.”

Apparently influenced by Nirvana, Kanye West and Death Grips, Pizzorno also told Q that one track on the LP entitled ‘Bumblebee‘ is, ‘Beastie Boys dub with a sort of Zeppelin, Rage Against The Machine chorus’.
