The likes of Elbow, Massive Attack, Jake Bugg, Roxy Music and Black Sabbath have all offered singles to this year’s Secret 7″ series – and once again those purchasing the vinyls will not know exactly what they have got their hands on until the record is removed from its sleeve.
The Secret 7″ sale is entering its fourth year and is to take place on Record Store Day. In total, 700 singles will be put up on display at the Downstairs at Mother venue in London between April 12-13th, each with its own unique, original artwork. The sale follows thereafter.
All profits from the sales of Black Sabbath’s ‘Age Of Reason‘, Jake Bugg’s ‘Strange Creatures‘, ‘Grounds For Divorce‘ by Elbow’, Lorde‘s ‘Team‘, Massive Attack’s ‘Karmacoma‘, ‘Virginia Plain‘ by Roxy Music and ‘Get It On‘ courtesy of T.Rex will go towards the War Child charity.
