The Dillinger Escape Plan, Lonely The Brave and Volbeat are some of the bands added to next year’s Download festival line-up, while metallers Sikth have reformed for the 2014 event.

“We’ve always said that one day we would get Sikth back together and do another show and next year just feels like the right time to stop the talking and do it,” Sikth’s Dan Weller remarks.

“To be honest we really miss playing those songs. Our fans have been so loyal so it’s time to give them something back. We played Download in 2003 and 2006 so it seemed the obvious place for us to make a return.”

Also added today are Suicide Silence, Buckcherry, Memphis May Fire, Battlecross, Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel, Arcane Roots, Thy Art is Murder, The Amity Affliction, Avatar and Feed The Rhino.

Aerosmith, Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold will headline Download when the festival takes place at Donington Park between June 13th-15th.
