The Kaiser Chiefs have unveiled an early snippet of their forthcoming ‘Education, Education, Education & War‘ album – their first since the departure of founder member, drummer and lead songwriter Nick Hodgson.

“An early gift for y’all,” the band wrote on Facebook. “It sounds a bit different to the version we played for you in the summer – hope you enjoy it.”

The band release their fifth album on March 31st 2014 after recording was undertaken at the Maze Studios in Atlanta with producer Ben H. Allen III. After those sessions, the tapes were taken to the Electric Lady Studios in New York for mixing.

Kaiser Chiefs have booked various shows around the world during the build up to the LP’s release – those include UK dates at the Manchester Gorilla on February 11th next year and a visit to the Scala in London two days later.
