Johnny Marr briefly rejoined The Cribs last night(December 19th) as the band performed the second of two gigs at the Leeds Academy.
According to reports, towards the end of a mammoth set Marr was welcomed onstage by the Jarman brothers for renditions of ‘We Were Aborted‘ and ‘We Share The Same Skies’ – both taken from 2009’s ‘Ignore The Ignorant‘ album which remains the only studio LP released during Marr’s spell with the band.
The set took in all the raucous highlights from the group’s career and ended with another ‘Ignore The Ignorant’ track ‘City Of Bugs‘.
