Band Of Skulls have unveiled the tracklist and artwork for their impending third album ‘Himalayan‘.
The striking sleeve art (pic) has been created by converting the sound wave of the album’s title track into a 3D print, while the tracklist comprises 12 new songs and an exclusive iTunes track entitled ‘Be Mine‘. Today’s news has come complete with a new video for ‘Asleep At The Wheel‘, which can be viewed below.
The band’s latest LP is to be supported with a spring 2014 tour of the UK and mainland Europe, starting on March 23rd at the Leeds Met University.
‘Himalayan’ succeeds the 2012 effort ‘Sweet Sour‘, of which Live4ever’s review commented: “The old school notion of a ‘radio rock record’ has become a steadily disintegrating concept in today’s era of digital downloads and lo-fi laptop recordings, and it’s unfortunate because that is exactly what Band Of Skulls have created here: a polished and accessible second offering from a group that made a point to rise to an occasion they could have just as easily shrank away from.”
