The Rolling Stones are to release an updated version of their 1965 live EP ‘Got Live If You Want It!‘ as part of the Back To Black Friday arm of Record Store Day, which takes place on November 29th.
The EP was originally recorded on a UK tour in in the March of 1965 and released later that year, while a full length, much disputed live album of the same name was issued in the States the following year. The new edition is out on 7″ vinyl for Black Friday, and adds a selection of covers which were not included back in the Sixties.
Another special release due for release later this month comes courtesy of The Flaming Lips, who have enlisted some friends to help them with a full cover of the Stone Roses’ classic debut album.
