Mick Jagger would ‘love’ to tour with The Rolling Stones again

It would appear Mick Jagger is up for more Rolling Stones live shows in 2014 after admitting he has been ‘blown away’ by the reaction to their 50th anniversary tour dates.

The sporadic anniversary concerts which began in London almost a year ago concluded with festival appearances for Glastonbury and British Summer Time during June and July 2013. Although there has since been no concrete plans revealed for next year, with Jagger’s seal of approval now delivered additional live outings are significantly more likely; speaking to the London Evening Standard at the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards, Jagger remarked:

“This summer was really good for us. I feel really happy and I had a really fantastic time in the last year. It was a great ending at Glastonbury and Hyde Park. We were blown away. I’d love to do it again.”

The Stones’ appearances at both Glastonbury and British Summer Time have been nominated for the Best Headline Performance Of The Year prize at the latest UK Festival Awards. Their main competition is likely to come from Arctic Monkeys, who are shortlisted for their own bill-topping show at Worthy Farm.
