Video: Atoms For Peace stream Moody Theatre gig in full online after ACL cancellation

Atoms For Peace‘s gig at Austin’s Moody Theatre last weekend – hastily arranged after the final day of Austin City Limits was cancelled thanks to poor weather conditions – has been uploaded to YouTube in full and can be absorbed below.

Atoms For Peace were one of a number of bands to be affected by the event’s abrupt finish on Sunday, October 13th after Austin was hit by around 11 inches of rain according to reports.

“Due to current weather conditions with flash flood warnings, The Austin City Limits Music Festival organizers have canceled the festival for Sunday, October 13,” a statement explained.

“‘Our first priority is always the safety of our fans, staff and artists,’ said Shelby Meade, communications director for C3 Presents, the promoter behind Austin City Limits Music Festival. ‘We regret having to cancel the show today, but safety always comes first.’”

“Refunds will be issued automatically by check from Front Gate Tickets within three weeks. One-third of ticket price will be refunded to all ticket buyers based on original ticket price paid, and will be mailed to the billing address on the original order.”

The likes of Franz Ferdinand, Phoenix and The National were among the other bands to have their second performance at the festival pulled, but it was Atoms For Peace who were thinking on their feet and had a different indoor gig in the city booked within hours:
