For the best part of two weeks, David Bowie will have an entire station dedicated to him on US satellite radio.

From October 30th to November 12th, Sirius XM is to devote itself to Bowie, and promises new tracks from the upcoming expanded re-release of ‘The Next Day‘ along with live performances, demos and covers of Bowie classics courtesy of the likes of Beck, Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The news comes soon after a previously unheard recording of David Bowie hosting a contemporary mock radio show to promote his 1973 covers album ‘Pin Ups‘ was debuted on BBC 6Music.

The aforementioned ‘Next Day’ reissue, meanwhile, arrives on November 5th under the title ‘The Next Day Extra‘, and boasts a 10-track bonus CD which includes four previously unreleased tracks – ‘Atomica‘, ‘The Informer‘, ‘Like a Rocket Man‘ and ‘Born In a UFO‘. The song ‘God Bless The Girl‘, which has until now only been officially available in Japan, is also on the rundown.
