Travis‘ UK tour schedule for the remainder of 2013 will now encompass a second date at the Glasgow Barrowlands.
The band are currently out on a run of English shows which began in Bristol last Saturday (October 19th) and continue in Gateshead tomorrow. One Dublin gig was also sandwiched in between on the 21st.
And after three Scottish shows in November, they now have two nights booked at the Glasgow Barrowlands at the end of this year, with an additional show on December 21st added to the original gig a day earlier.
All this is in support of Travis’ seventh album ‘Where You Stand’, which hit the shelves in August after recording sessions in London, Norway and New York. “You stay away as long as it takes,” bassist Dougie Payne said of Travis’ long break between albums, “so you feel that hunger and desire to get back to it same as you did at the start.”
