Pearl Jam have landed at number one on the UK Record Store Chart with their latest album ‘Lightning Bolt‘.

The Seattle grunge veterans hold off Arctic Monkeys‘ lingering challenge with ‘AM‘, while Sir Paul McCartney mirrors his position on the main chart rundown with a ‘New‘ entry at #3.




The UK Record Store Chart was launched last year and is compiled entirely from sales registered at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music outlets.
