Pete MacLeod will re-release his ‘Rolling Stone‘ single this coming Monday (October 14th) ahead of the arrival of his debut album on Alan McGee’s brand new 359 Music label later this year.

The track was first issued in 2011, and sonically reflects the period MacLeod spent in Los Angeles before returning to his native Glasgow after his father was diagnosed with cancer.

“My dad always believed in my music and never stopped encouraging me to write and play the music I love,” MacLeod – whose music has since supported the Cancer Research UK charity both during and after his father’s battle with the illness – said when his signing to 359 was confirmed in July.

“While I’m sorry that he won’t see this next stage in my career, I know he’ll always be with me and that’s what keeps me going.”

‘Rolling Stone’ has now been fully remastered, and leads the album of the same name which is all set for release on November 4th.
