Live4ever’s New Tunes Guide feat. Life, Crystal Antlers and more

October’s first New Tunes Guide brings along highlights from Life and Crystal Antlers.

Life present some – what is now quite old school – scratchy, catchy indie in the form of debut single ‘I Wanna Forget’, which was produced by former Kaiser Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson. The quartet have only been in operation since January this year, but are enjoying growing interest after consistent live showings in East London and their hometown Hull. The band consists of brothers Mez and Mick, and ‘best buds’ Loz and Rich.

‘Nothing Is Real’ is the new record from Crystal Antlers, out on October 15th through Innovative Leisure. The band are currently preparing for a long tour of North America starting on the 16th of this month in San Diego and stretching right through to November 13th and a final gig in San Francisco.

These and eight other picks of the week can be found by scrolling through our latest collection, and you can catch up with all our previous editions by clicking on the New Tunes Guide logo below.
