Foals, Florence & The Machine and Noel Gallagher are just some of the acts to have made the cut on the comprehensive list of nominees for the sixth annual UK Music Video Awards.

Foals’ promo for ‘Late Night‘ is up for Best UK Rock/Indie Video, while they are also recognised in the Best Visual Effects category thanks to ‘Bad Habit‘.

Florence & The Machine, meanwhile, land mentions in the Best Cinematography and Best UK Alternative Video sections, while Noel Gallagher’s live DVD ‘International Magic – Live At The 02‘ will compete with Led Zeppelin, Mumford & Sons, Plan B, Savages and The Vaccines for Best Live Coverage.

“The MVAs has become a globally-recognised event for celebrating the outstanding creative work in music videos in the UK and around the world,” editorial director David Knight comments. “Last year filmmakers travelled from Europe and the United States to attend our biggest show ever. It was a very good night indeed.”
