After putting out various clues through their social networks during the past few weeks, The Killers have now confirmed they will release a greatest hits collection in November.

Along side some of the band’s most enduring singles, from the early breakthroughs of ‘Somebody Told Me‘ and ‘Mr. Brightside‘ to more recent favourites such as ‘Runaways‘, ‘Direct Hits‘ will also contain two brand new tracks – ‘Just Another Girl‘, produced by Stuart Price who has been on board regularly in the time since 2006’s ‘Sam’s Town‘ LP, and ‘Shot At The Night‘, which is the product of the recording sessions with M83‘s Anthony Gonzalez discussed by the group earlier this year. The latter will be released as a single on November 4th ahead of the compilation’s release on the 11th.

In addition, a deluxe version of the album is to contain a demo version of ‘Mr. Brightside‘ and a Calvin Harris remix of ‘When You Were Young‘.
