After seeing their debut album fly straight to number one on the UK Album Chart, The 1975 have now added an extra couple of dates to their 2014 tour of the country.
The new shows have been announced for the Manchester Academy on January 7th and London’s Brixton Academy on January 10th, pre-dating the original shows at the venues which take place on the 8th and 11th of January respectively.
Tickets go onsale from this Wednesday, September 11th. Those gigs arrive ahead of the main run, which opens up on February 7th at the Glasgow Academy, running through to the 15th and a stop at Norwich’s UEA.
The 1975 took the top spot on the UK Album Chart yesterday at the expense of returning veterans Nine Inch Nails, whose comeback LP ‘Hesitation Marks‘ had to settle for second place.
