Sleigh Bells will return on October 7th with their new album ‘Bitter Rivals‘.
The Brooklyn duo of singer Alexis Krauss and guitarist/producer Derek Miller have unveiled the video for the record’s lead single and title-track when confirming the news, which has been self-directed in conjunction with director Reed Morano and producer Brian Graf.
‘Bitter Rivals’ follows the 2012 effort ‘Reign Of Terror‘, of which Live4ever’s review remarked: “Despite the hit-or-miss quality at the core of ‘Reign Of Terror’, Krauss and Miller have to be commended for pushing back at the boundaries they inherently built around themselves with their own aesthetic.”
“Attempting to recreate the sense of now that permeated their ascent from anonymity would have assuredly set them up to fail, and at the very least their endeavor to twist their formula inward is a testament towards their boldness of vision.”
The group will begin a long stretch of North American dates with Doldrums from early October, continuing on until November 22nd and a show at Terminal 5 in New York.
