Foals have announced the release of a live album and DVD on October 28th.

Documenting the band’s show at the Royal Albert Hall in London is ‘Holy Fire: Live At The Royal Albert Hall‘, which will also feature a new documentary entitled Nothing Left Unsaid. A trailer can be viewed below.

Holy Fire‘ is one of the favourites for this year’s Mercury Prize ahead of the imminent announcement of the prestigious award’s latest shortlist. The LP continued a sonic growth for the band, a move which frontman Yannis Philippakis told the Daily Star could move onto ‘weird experimental music’ in the future. “Things are going well, and there’s a reaction in the band to go the opposite way,” he said.

“We keep telling our record label we’d like to make a triple album of stoner metal and old-school jungle, or one long drone that lasts 70 minutes. We’ve always wanted to make weird experimental music.”
