Del Amitri, who enjoyed success in the late Eighties and early Nineties with four consecutive Top 10 albums and perfectly soundtracked Scotland’s 1998 World Cup campaign with the official single ‘Don’t Come Home Too Soon‘, have announced their comeback after a ten-year break.
The ‘A To Z Of Us’ tour sees Justin Currie and Iain Harvie returning to the stage with Andy Alston, Kris Dollimore and Ashley Soan. It starts at Newcastle’s City Hall on January 26th 2014, and as yet only includes dates at English venues, though the band have suggested on Facebook that the trip could expand in due course.
Justin Currie is also set for his own tour of the UK this month after releasing the solo album ‘Lower Reaches‘ this year.
