Video: Nirvana post ‘Heart-Shaped Box’ director’s cut

The director’s cut of the video for Nirvana‘s 1993 single ‘Heart-Shaped Box‘ has been released online.

The promo is one of the extra features due to feature on the extensive re-release of ‘In Utero‘, which has been put together to mark the album’s 20th anniversary. Other bonuses include long lost demos, alternate takes and a full live album.

Speaking to XFM recently, former Nirvana bass player Krist Novoselic described ‘In Utero’ as a ‘testament to Kurt Cobain‘s artistic vision’.

“I’m really proud of it,” he said. “It’s really good and it is a testimony to the artistic vision of Kurt Cobain. You listen to that record and the intensity and that power and that is a tribute to Kurt’s vision.”

“He was a great artist, he was a great painter, he could do sculpture, he did comics and he was a great songwriter, great guitar player and so that’s who this record’s for.”
