Video: Alt-J perform new song ‘Warm Foothills’ at Reading Festival

Pro footage of Alt-J performing a brand new song entitled ‘Warm Foothills‘ has been posted to YouTube and can be viewed below.

The track was aired live at the Reading/Leeds weekend, and provides fans with a glimpse of what to expect when the group follow-up their critically lauded debut ‘An Awesome Wave‘, the work on which should already be underway if they are sticking to schedule.

“We go in the studio this summer,” Gus Unger-Hamilton told the Daily Star back in May. “We are very keen to work on the second proper album. Some songs have been started and almost finished. It’s feeling good.”

“It’s been hard to write on the road because we don’t have access to our instruments. Maybe we’ll do a Futureheads and make an a cappella album.”

Alt-J headlined the NME/Radio 1 Stage at Reading last Saturday, topping a bill which also saw performances that day from the likes of Jake Bugg, Tame Impala and Johnny Marr.
