Twin Atlantic are planning to issue a new studio album early next year.

With a summer of festival appearances due to continue at Reading/Leeds later this month, the Scottish band have revealed their new album has been recorded at Wales’ legendary Rockfield Studios, and is now slated for release in the first part of 2014.

They have reunited with producer Gil Norton, who manned the desk for their debut full length effort ‘Free’.

“We needed some time to find out what kind of music we wanted to make next and to explore things in the studio that we’ve never had the chance to explore before,” Ross McNae remarks. “Hearing what we’re making now makes me fully believe we were right to take our time as it’s sounding massive.”

Live4ever has followed Twin Atlantic’s career closely since we were first introduced to the band at the 2010 South By Southwest Festival, while ‘Free’ became one of our Essential Albums Of 2011 after its release in the April of that year.
