The Fratellis have unveiled the first single to be taken from their forthcoming album ‘We Need Medicine‘ – it can be heard via Soundcloud below.
‘Seven Nights Seven Days‘ has been scheduled for a September 29th release, and will be followed a week later by the Scottish band’s first studio effort since 2008’s ‘Here We Stand‘.
Not long after that album arrived, The Fratellis embarked on an indefinite hiatus, giving frontman Jon Fratelli the time to pursue a solo career which last saw action in 2011 with the ‘Psycho Jukebox‘ record.
The trio also begin a UK tour on November 17th at the O2 Academy in Bournemouth, later visiting London’s Shepherd’ s Bush Empire in London on the 24th. The trip closes with a show in Glasgow on the 29th.
