Ryan Jarman’s new band Exclamation Pony announces first official release


Exclamation Pony – the New York-based band consisting of The CribsRyan Jarman and one-time Here We Go Magic member Jen Turner – has announced the new double A-side single ‘Pseudo-Individual‘/’Mazes‘.

The single will be issued through Julian Casablancas‘ Cult Records label, and is the first official release to emerge from the collaboration which began playing gigs in New York last year.




It was, ‘Recorded at a frenzied pace in and around New York City, at various studios, basements, bedrooms and anywhere else we happened to find ourselves’, Ryan Jarman has noted of the single.

The duo first met at a Tokyo festival and soon after, following Jarman’s relocation to Brooklyn, they began writing and recording music together. This resulted in the free download ‘Rumours‘ which emerged in February 2013.

As well as Exclamation Pony, Cult Records is also due to release new material from C O L O R, Albert Hammond Jr., Rey Pila and Reputante in the near future.
