Jack White‘s Third Man label will hand a wider release to the 10th anniversary reissue of The White Stripes‘ fourth studio album ‘Elephant‘.

The re-release first arrived in April when a limited edition vinyl was made available for Record Store Day, and now Third Man have confirmed a full release on August 27th, this time on 180 gram double black vinyl. The reissue features tracks remastered from the original 2002 studio tapes.

Jack White was named as ambassador for the 2013 edition of Record Store Day, and said in a statement released at the time:

“As Record Store Day Ambassador of 2013 I’m proud to help in any way I can to invigorate whoever will listen with the idea that there is beauty and romance in the act of visiting a record shop and getting turned on to something new that could change the way they look at the world, other people, art, and ultimately, themselves.”
