Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes amongst bands contributing to new Beatles covers album

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes are amongst the bands to have contributed a cover to a new album which celebrates the early work of The Beatles in aid of the Rock n’ Roll Camp For Girls Los Angeles project.

Out on October 1st, ‘Beatles Reimagined‘ is to be released through the Community Projects label, which directly benefits youth and music charities in the US.

Fab Four tracks from 1963 and 1964 feature, including Edward Sharpe’s version of ‘I Saw Her Standing There‘. “The Beatles are the band I think of the most when I’m considering if the music I’m making is good enough,” band leader Alex Ebert says.
