China Rats have announced the details of a brand new EP to go with a selection of headline UK tour dates which are booked for this coming October.
The ‘Don’t Play With Fire‘ EP is out on September 30th, and follows last summer’s debut ‘To Be Like I‘, which was named as one of Live4ever’s Essential Tracks Of 2012 at the end of the year. It was recorded at the Cottage Road Studios in Leeds, produced and mixed by Matt Peel. It contains five new tracks, namely ‘N.O.M.O.N.E.Y‘, ‘Deadbeat‘, ‘Get Loose‘, ‘Reeperbahn‘ and ‘Green Tears‘.
Meanwhile, an October tour begins on the 4th with a hometown gig at Leeds’ Brudenell Social, and also includes visits to Nottingham, Birmingham and Liverpool among others before a closing show at the Sebright Arms in London on October 9th.
In addition, the group still have several European festival commitments to complete, and will be at Reading/Leeds later this month.
