Bruce Springsteen named ‘best live act in the world’

Bruce Springsteen has been named as the ‘greatest live act in the world’ by Rolling Stone.

The publication has The Boss, currently wowing audiences with his legendary mammoth sets during the ongoing Wrecking Ball world tour, placed first immediately ahead of Prince and The Rolling Stones.

Arcade Fire, who have just confirmed their first live shows of 2014 as part of next year’s Big Day Out festival, are fourth, while Neil Young completes the Top 5.

Radiohead and Jack White are among the acts to also make the Top 10, while rock veterans U2, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Metallica and Paul McCartney are further back inside the Top 20.
