Yo La Tengo have announced the details of three UK dates as the end of a lengthy North American trek for the band homes into view this month.
Supporting their 2013 album ‘Fade‘, Georgia Hubley, Ira Kaplan and James McNew will embark on the trio of shows at the East Village Arts Bar in Liverpool, Bexhill’s De La Warr Pavilion and the Barbican in London on December 4th, 7th and 8th respectively.
Yo La Tengo released ‘Fade’ at the start of this year, and received praise from Live4ever in our review, which concludes:
“It’s simple really, Yo La Tengo make music that all three of them like. Be it a folk influence, some krautrock or a little bit of country, they’re not restricted by barriers or some kind of default ‘Yo La Tengo Sound’.”
