Australian rockers Wolfmother have reunited for a handful of US gigs –  just 10 weeks or so after announcing their split.

“Hello Everyone, We are ecstatic to announce we will be playing at The Troubadour on Monday night in Los Angeles California USA! Come one come all ! This is our first show in the USA in 3 years, it will be a spectacular,” they wrote on Facebook.

The band’s frontman Andrew Stockdale had signalled his intention to go solo after their split was revealed, and released the album ‘Keep Moving‘ last month, while his own Australian and American gigs were scheduled after he told Noise11 at the time:

“I’m just doing this for now. This is something that I wanted to do. I just wanted to self-produce my own record and put it out under my own name.”

But now those solo live shows have apparently been pulled, and instead Wolfmother are to perform at Los Angeles’ Troubadour venue on July 15th and 22nd along with a date at Santa Ana’s Observatory on July 17th.
