Video: Arctic Monkeys premiere new b-side ‘2013’

The Arctic Monkeys have unveiled the b-side for their new single ‘Do I Wanna Know?‘ – scroll down to take a listen to ‘2013‘.

‘Do I Wanna Know?’ was immediately made available for download after receiving its first play last month, and is to be followed by the Sheffield band’s new album ‘AM‘ on September 9th. The LP features guest contributions from Queens Of The Stone Age‘s Josh Homme, former Coral guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones, and legendary punk poet John Cooper Clarke.

One of those guests, Josh Homme, recently described it as a ‘really cool record’ when speaking at the Rock For People festival in the Czech Republic a few weeks back.

“I sang on the new Arctic Monkeys record,” he said. “It’s a really cool, sexy after-midnight record. It’s called ‘AM’, so I guess that’s really obvious. And it’s really good. It’s really good. It’s not disco but it’s like a modern, dancefloor sexy record. It’s really good.”
