Travis have expanded their autumn UK tour which will now take in a gentle smattering of Scottish dates.
The run is due to start at the Bristol Academy on October 19th, finishing at the Leeds Academy on the 28th, but those original shows will now be followed by three Scottish dates beginning on November 17th at the Edinburgh Picture House. The band also now have gigs booked in Aberdeen and Inverness.
Travis issue their seventh album ‘Where You Stand’ on August 19th through their own Red Telephone Box label, after recording sessions in London, Norway and New York. “You stay away as long as it takes,” bassist Dougie Payne has said of Travis’ long break between albums, “so you feel that hunger and desire to get back to it same as you did at the start.”
