The Polyphonic Spree are showcasing a second track set to feature on their new album ‘Yes, It’s True‘ courtesy of a YouTube video which can be sampled below.

Hold Yourself Up‘ is premiered soon after ‘You Don’t Know Me‘ was previously presented as the first taste of the band’s impending studio effort when the release date of August 5th was announced earlier this month.

“I was just collecting songs along the way until Julie  said, ‘You have enough to make a record here, you know?’,”  Tim DeLaughter has told Main Line Media News of the album’s genesis.

“It’s like all these different snapshots that were going on in the last few years of the Polyphonic Spree. That’s what’s cool about it. All these songs are kind of different from one another and yet they all seem to work.”

The band will be in the UK immediately before and after ‘Yes, It’s True’s release with a spot at Camp Bestival booked for August 4th and their own headline gig at the Village Underground in London due on August 6th.
