The Beatles‘ 1966 album ‘Revolver‘ has been placed at number one by Entertainment Weekly on its list of the ‘100 Greatest Albums Of All Time’.

In total, four Beatles LPs feature in the top 100 – though surprisingly they do not include the Fab Four’s landmark 1967 record ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band‘.

Prince‘s ‘Purple Rain‘ and The Rolling Stones‘ classic ‘Exile On Main St.‘ complete the top 3, while Adele‘s big selling ‘21‘ is the most recent release inside the top 20.
