New Order have made their live album ‘Live At Bestival 2012‘ available to preview in full online ahead of its release next week.
Out on July 8th, the record has been put together in support of the Isle of Wight Youth Trust charity, and features a set-list packed with New Order favourites along with covers of Joy Division classics ‘Transmission‘ and ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart‘.
“We played at so many festivals in 2012, and our highlights were, without doubt, the last two in the UK, Portmeirion and Bestival,” drummer Stephen Morris has said of the release. “It’s great to give something back, and also to give such a brilliant crowd something to remember the show by. And if you weren’t there, buy the CD and enjoy the experience that way!”
New Order are also expected to release a new EP later this year after keyboard player Gillian Gilbert revealed they are hoping to avoid the band’s usual long delays in offering up fresh material.

They are not Joy Division ‘covers’. New Order and Joy Division are the same band.
