Miles Kane has landed nominations in both the Best Male Artist and Album Of The Year categories for the 2013 Liverpool Music Awards.

Kane is up for the Album Of The Year gong thanks to his second solo effort ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are‘, and will compete against Ian Skelly and Baltic Feet.

“We’re very excited about the nominations which are just as eclectic as last year,” awards director Ellie Philips has said. “We’ve got a real mix of well known names like Ian Broudie and Clinic to new talent like Tyler Mensah and Lumin Bells.”

The ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 25th at Liverpool’s St George’s Hall.
