Lucy Rose‘s debut album ‘Like I Used To‘ will get its Stateside release in September, it has been confirmed.

The release coincides with a lengthy US tour for the singer/songwriter, which begins on September 13th and runs right through to October 22nd when a final date arrives in Tennessee.

‘Like I Used To’ was named as one of Live4ever’s writers’ albums of the year in December 2012 after being described thus:

“Wide-eyed acoustic singer-songwriters ruminating over past romance and its trials and tribulations is nothing particularly new, but Lucy Rose manages to instil a renewed freshness into the genre, helped by astute and varied composition throughout.”

“The subject matter found on the record may be intensely personal to Rose, but the unwavering honesty of the songs and the delicately soulful vocal delivery becomes immediately endearing to those who’ve experienced similar emotions.  The disarming warmth emanating from this album makes this a perfect gift for the holiday season and the cold winter nights ahead, signifying a talent only likely to blossom well into 2013 and beyond.”
